1. Birthday

the worst birthday ever .
it was a total guilt trip, especially so since my dad bought me a watch .
he just said go in and take a look since he knew i was thinking of getting one .
then he just asked for a day and date watch which i mentioned in passing, asked me to try it, and just bought that damn thing on the spot .
i was just totally speechless, and i didn't know how to stop him .
sigh, i really hope he can take my retaining well .
everyone is still expecting i would pull another miracle like my O levels, where we were all prepared for me to enter ITE .
like i said before, my parents were probably the only ecstatic ones that their child entered SR out of my whole class .
so naturally, i didn't dare ask for a nice place for dinner, yet didn't know how to decline, and ended up pissing my mum off .
eventually had dinner in sunset way, some very nice steak place where i enjoyed myself anyways hahah .
had this complimentary veal tongue .
and it was REALLY good .
yeah, it sounds disgusting, eating the tongue of a possibly 3 month old calf .
for the record, it tasted like really tender beef .
so anyways, the whole day was a total guilt trip .

P.S: My mum mentioned to my dad in passing that i might be retaining. she said he looked sad. f**k .
